How acupuncture may work for stress, anxiety and insomnia
We think that acupuncture helps by regulating blood chemicals such as endorphins (our natural morphine type hormone), and serotonin so helping you feel calmer and more relaxed.
There is an increasingly good evidence base for the use of acupuncture in insomnia, although less so for chronic and generalised anxiety. Please view the fact sheets for stress, anxiety and insomnia on the BAcC website
